Our client a leading global securities and investment organisation are currently seeking to hire a Senior Payroll Manager to lead their busy team in London, reporting to Head of International HR (locally) & Global Head of Payroll & Benefits US.

Responsibilities for this role includes:
- Managing and overseeing payroll services across multiple jurisdictions in the UK & Europe, covering a workforce circa 1,000 employees over 10 jurisdictions.
- Being the point of contact for the HR Team, Group EU Heads for all payroll delivery.
- Managing Expat/ secondees packages.
- Developing the payroll strategy, ensuring it is in line with company objectives and current legislation and regulations.
- Manage tax year end requirements.
- Give advice on system and process implications and to recognise impact on other areas of business.
- Managing business changes that impact the payroll delivery and ensuring understanding within the team of what is required and by when.
- System configuration and testing in relation to payroll system changes.
- Management of payroll team budget and line management of the team.

Candidate requirements:
- A strong track record of working in global payroll delivery
- Technical expertise in the field and actively share this knowledge and related best practices with others
- Management and leadership skills & experience
- Working in a global team
- Ideally worked at a large Financial Services firm with over 1000 employees
- In-depth knowledge of ADP payroll systems and People Soft
