Employee Benefits Team Adviser

One of the UK’s leading providers of actuarial and consultancy services are currently looking for an Employee Benefits Team Adviser to join their Employee Benefits Department. The Employee Benefit Adviser will provide services and advice to employers on employee benefit plans, predominantly DC pension provision. You will be required to have a detailed knowledge of the current DC corporate pension market and a working knowledge of other employee benefits. The Employee Benefits Team Adviser will be responsible for managing the client relationship and advising on the implementation and maintenance of the employer’s employee benefit schemes, with an emphasis on DC pensions. Our Group Risk team has a detailed knowledge of the group risk market and assists Advisers in this specialist area. This is a FSA Controlled Function “CF 30” role. Occasionally you may be required to give pension advice to individuals. An important part of the role is to develop existing corporate accounts and to maintain high levels of client care and client satisfaction. You will be required to assist in the acquisition of new business, although cold-calling will not be a part of your role. The Employee Benefits Team Adviser should be qualified to Diploma PFS level including relevant pension qualifications or equivalent and you will be encouraged to achieve Chartered status, for which a study package is provided. You will be expected to maintain and develop your knowledge and skills through Continuous Professional Development.
