Payroll Manager
Salary: £36,159 to £37,931 p.a. inc. London weighting

We are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager to administer the payroll and pensions function for around 1,000 employees. Reporting to the Head of Finance and managing one Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and efficient service to College staff, external agencies and the payroll bureau.
The successful candidate will be an experienced payroll manager who will be able to hit the ground running. They will understand the payroll process from start to finish, be able to produce accurate year end returns and be able to develop effective working relationships with other College departments. The College uses CMG as its payroll software and the successful candidate will either have experience of this system or be confident that you can quickly get competent in its use. The candidate will also have an understanding of accounting processes and be able to work closely with Finance staff to improve the recording and reporting of payroll transactions. Experience of pension’s administration, in particular Teachers’ Pension and Local Government Pension schemes, is highly desirable.
