Payroll Manager now being sought for leading international brand with an excellent reputation for people retention and development. The role will be responsible for an effective payroll function delivering accurate weekly and monthly payroll. You will be working with colleagues within the business and with subsidiary businesses providing guidance and support. You will be involved in reviewing the current payroll practice and procedures within the organisation with a view to implementing improvements as well as documenting processes and procedures and evaluating skill sets within the team.
You should be technically up-to-date with legislation and statutory requirements and possess team management experience. You should also be IPP qualified with a full knowledge of all payroll procedures, HMRC regulations and computerised payroll and time and attendance systems. We are seeking a pro-active individual with a flexible and methodical approach and the ability to work to deadlines and communicate at all levels.
