Payroll Supervisor
A position has arisen for a Payroll Supervisor to work within a progressive organisation in the Tyneside area. The post holder will be responsible for looking after a team, processing payroll from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely payments to all employees, complying with statutory regulations, keeping up to date with payroll legislation, dealing with online submissions to the HMRC (such as year ends), dealing with/investigating escalated queries. They will also be training new members of staff, monitoring performance, holding meeting to set team/individual objectives and developing staff members. Applicants must have experience of payroll from start to finish, have used Sage, have good MS Excel and have previously been senior to staff/supervised/deputised for the manager.
