The Company This multi award winning Outsourced Pensions Administrator is rapidly expanding its activities and is looking for a Pensions Scheme Communications Specialist. The Role The Pensions Scheme Communications Specialist will play a key role within the overall administration of the schemes, and will be required to spend large amounts of time analysing legislation and regulatory documents and producing member communications to be sent out explaining these changes. You will be identifying changes and offering practical advice to scheme members as a result of the legislation changes. You will be able to explain and communicate complex and complicated detail to colleagues/clients and members in an easy to understand format so excellent written skills are required. The Person The ideal candidate will possess extensive current and previous knowledge of the ‘pensions industry’ and related areas, You will possess excellent analytical skills, confident in dealing with large documents and be able to communicate these documents and their impacts to different audiences. You will previously have expertise in researching and analysing technical issues from scratch, using legislation - Acts of Parliament and statutory instruments; and will possess a good understanding of DB, DC and hybrid pension schemes and how they operate. This is an intensive role so strong analytical skills and attention to detail are a must and you will ideally be APMI qualified or equivalent. The Benefits In return for your hard work and experience you will be rewarded with a salary depending on experience up to £35,000 and a flexible benefits package including up to 25 days holiday and the option to buy or sell and addition 5 days, a good pensions package and the option for additional study support.
