Experienced Pensions Administrator
Salary up to £18K (dependant on experience) + Benefits Package
Aon have an opportunity for an experienced Pensions Administrator to join one of their teams in Sheffield.
Candidates are required to have recent experience in the full administration of Defined Contribution or Final Salary Occupational Pension Schemes along with the ability to evidence understanding of Pension Scheme Legislation.
You will be required to provide a full benefits and pension administration service to clients and customers in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. Key responsibilities for the Pensions Administrator:-
- To take responsibility for the quality of individual and teamwork produced.
- To only carry out the value work
- To suggest changes required to the system to reduce variation in process measurements.
- To highlight problems impacting on the performance of the system, using the opportunity to provide ideas and solutions.
- To provide data required for process capability measures.
- To understand the customer demand and respond accordingly.
- To participate in regular team meetings to refine process flows and give input to identify the causes of variation in the process capability measures.
- To support junior members of the team.
- To ensure that technical knowledge is kept up to date and relevant to the role
- To participate in a continuous professional and personal development including keeping up to date with statutory obligations and relevant FSA guidelines and legislation.
Skills & experience required:-
- Final Salary (DC or DB) experience - Relevant experience with exposure to technical issues relating to pension scheme legislation. - To be familiar with Microsoft applications and how they interact together. - Familiar with Profund (preferable) Aon Consulting is one of the world leaders in the delivery of employee benefits and risk solutions to clients.
