Senior Treasury Administrator - 6 month fixed term contract
Salary up to £17K pro-rata
Role Purpose:-
The key role of the Senior Treasury Administrator is to help the team to provide a highly cost effective and efficient accounting and banking service for clients of the company.
The primary objective is the accurate and timely payment of benefits and the operation of bank accounts on behalf of clients.
Scope:-
The scope of the role covers acting as the point of contact for Treasury matters for Aon's clients and Pension Administration teams, CRM's and nominated banks. The job holder will be required to act as the liaison between the Offshore Treasury teams and the onshore Pensions Administration teams.

Key Accountabilities:-
This role will have the responsibility for the following activities within the Treasury Office:-
Service Delivery
• To effectively maintain standards of service excellence.
• To be responsible for the review and authorisation of payments created by the Offshore Treasury team
• Perform QA checks on work completed by Offshore Treasury team within agreed parameters
• If necessary, raise manual payments in the UK
• Prepare daily banking and produce/issue outgoing cheque payments
• Compliance with SLA's and specific Client requirements
• Dealing with complaints and referring any E&Os to the Accounts & Treasury Team Leader.
• To assist the Accounts & Treasury Team Leader in the collation and review of required Management Information
• To assist the Accounts & Treasury Team Leader with the implementation of new business, liaising with Aon and offshore staff to meet agreed timescales.
• Compliance with internal policies and procedures and any legislative requirements
• To participate in a continuous professional and personal development including keeping up to date with statutory obligations and relevant FSA guidelines and legislation.
Process Improvements
• To help implement statutory and other changes and to enhance efficiency.
• Take responsibility for identifying improvements in processes and making recommendations, and where agreed make changes to systems and supporting procedures.
Client Management - internal and external
• To jointly ensure the efficient operation of Treasury procedures, fulfilling the client's contract and complying with statutory requirements
• To deal with written and verbal queries efficiently and professionally on aspects of Treasury referring any issues to the Accounts & Treasury Team Leader immediately
Team Membership
• To be proactive in agreeing and implementing the post holders own training and development needs
• To promote a proactive and responsible culture with professional standards of behaviour amongst the rest of the team

Knowledge and Experience:-
The Senior Treasury Administrator will have knowledge and experience of:-
• PAT's accounting and treasury systems, procedures and disciplines (in so much as these relate to the individuals own area of responsibility)
• Dealing with clients and customers
• Assisting with the implementation of change
• An awareness of audit requirements with regard to pension scheme accounts
• An awareness of other business issues including ISO requirements
